MiPai goes 100M!
I am happy to announce that MiPai is now running on a collection of one hundred millions images!
99′999′880 to be precise, because 120 image data are currently missing or corrupt in the CoPhIR collection. The update process took only 6.5 hours, and consisted in indexing the new 50 millions MPEG-7 descriptors that completed the CoPhIR collection.
Now the MiPai service runs using a multi-index search service on two 50 millions images indexes. I could have built a single 100 millions images index, but this was a good occasion to test the multi-index search facility… and it worked fine!
